''Ferguson's role has been overblown a bit and a key figure in the squad that won United's famous Treble under the Scot in 1999.

“He has been to the training ground a couple of times and I make sure I visit him after every game in his lounge at Old Trafford.

''It’s great to have a chat with him and his friends after every game. Great for me and, I think, good for him as well.

“He’s still got a good eye for the game and it’s great to see how well he looks after his illness. I can’t ring him every day and we don’t even speak every week on the phone but we do keep bumping into each other at the stadium.

“The weather was terrible both times he came to visit us at the training ground. The wind was really blowing. But he loves his football,'' Solskjaer explained according to Mirror.
