Nigerian Twitter user shares his thoughts on the selection process of BBNaija

Auditions for this year’s edition of highly coveted reality television show Big Brother Naija (BBN) commenced on Friday, February 1, 2019. The audition has gotten the attention of the online community with many people coming out to share their opinions as it concerns the show.

A particular user identified as, Ajayi Primme Tobbi (@prime_tobbi), recently took to the Twitter platform with a series of tweets in which he had made some personal revelations about what he knows of the selection process of the BBN.

The young man who tweeted in a bid to keep the intending housemates informed, started his tweets by posing a question. He had queried the reason for the lack of pictorial evidence of previous housemates that had auditioned for the show.

He answered his own question in another tweet where he said the reason was simply because the organizers of the television show would never pick random people off the streets. He added that to be considered to be put on the screen for millions of viewers, such person must have had something of recognition going on in their lives.

Tobbi continued by giving a brief profile of the previous housemates that had been considered for the last season of the reality show. He mentioned the last season's winner, Miracle, and Khloe, who had both been involved in the modelling industry before giving a shot at the BBN.

Teddy A and K Brule who were both 2018 housemates of the show, had both been involved in the music industry before they appeared on the show to gain more exposure for their musical careers.

The concerned Nigerian youth concluded his tweets by dousing the hopes of many that were looking to get into the house. He said that the auditions had commenced years before and the situation is simply a matter of what has been personally achieved before coming to seek acceptance and recognition on the platform of the show.
