Antonio Rudiger has claimed that Chelsea attackers were not at their best in the club's embarrassing Premier League defeat against Bournemouth.

He claimed the performance of the Blues was not good against their opponents adding that the attacking players should have done well in the encounter.

"Everyone needs to be ashamed of what happened in the last game. Everyone needs to think very deeply about that because you can win, lose or draw, but it's the manner which is important.

"In the second half, I can't really describe it. We went out and they scored after two minutes then things went very badly. Nothing came from us. N'Golo Kante had a half chance but that was it.

"If you look at the view of football, we made it too easy for Bournemouth by losing the ball up front everyone knows Bournemouth are going on the counter, and they were waiting for this,'' Rudiger explained according to Mirror UK.

Chelsea are now occupying fifth position on the Premier League standings with 47 points after 24 games played this season.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how former Arsenal star Perry Groves explained that Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri won't stay beyond the ongoing Premier League season at Stamford Bridge.

Maurizio Sarri has been under serious pressure since the Blues's defeat against Bournemouth in their last Premier League tie which was Chelsea's worst loss so far under Abramovich.

And even after the game, the former Napoli coach was said to have attacked his players in the dressing room claiming that they failed to follow instructions.
