The suspended chief justice of Nigeria (CJN) Walter Onnoghen, has been referred to as a shameless judge by the governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai, Vanguard reports.
Speaking at the state Government House on Friday, February 1, to a crowd of protesters calling for Onnoghen's immediate resignation, the governor said that the former CJN has shown that he is no more fit for office.
El-Rufai remarked that now is the time for Nigerians to join forces with President Muhammadu Buhari in his anti-graft war.

He further said that no nation can survive a corrupt judiciary, since, according to him, it is the worst kind of corruption.
Meanwhile, Legitg.ng reported that protesters had stormed the Kaduna state Government House to demand the resignation and subsequent prosecution of Onnoghen.
The protesters came under the umbrella of Coalition of Civil Society Organisations in Kaduna state.
Legit.ng gathered that the group, which comprised of women and youths, said the honourable thing Onnoghen should have done was to resign as chief justice of Nigeria so as to save himself from further embarrassment.
