Alhaji Yusufu Adamu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa has called on the electorate in the state to come out en masse and vote for the party in the forthcoming general elections.
Adamu made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse on Thursday, January 31.
Legit.ng gathers that he assured the electorate that APC is the only party that can provide them with the dividends of democracy.
Adamu said that people could see what the APC administration under President Muhammadu Buhari was able to achieve in about four years of its tenure.
He said: “The Buhari’s administration has provided employment to youths through the N-Power programme, rehabilitation of railways, security and the fight against corruption. We should still give him (Buhari) another chance to continue these laudable efforts.
“The Buhari government has been able to boost agriculture, provided fertilisers and other farm inputs for farmers at affordable prices.
“I was the former North West Publicity Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). I decided to defect to APC because of the good administration of APC in my state, Jigawa and the country in general."
