Buhari tells Nigerians to look forward to greater prosperity on his 2nd term return

- President Buhari has promised to sustain his administration’s strides in education, security, corruption, etc if re-elected

Ahead of the forthcoming presidential election, President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed what he plans to do if re-elected for the second term .

Nigerian Tribune reports that President Buhari on Sunday, January 20, at the event titled “Testimonies of Change” which was organised by the Ministry of Information and Culture, said Nigerians are to look forward to great prosperity and impactful leadership if re-elected.

The president who was represented by Udo Udoma, the minister of budget and national planning, said his administration would do everything possible to achieve significant improvement in many social spheres including education, security, corruption, economic transformation, infrastructure development, etc.

President further promised that Nigerians would live in Nigeria of their dreams upon his re-election.

The president also commended the minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, on the innovative ways the minister was showcasing the achievements of the government.

Earlier, the information minister said the achievements of the Buhari-led APC administration are real, adding that the administration has made positive impact on millions of Nigerians.

He also said the Buhari government just in three and a half years has achieved a lot with limited resources compared with the previous PDP administration.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that President Buhari vowed to tackle the roots all corruption cases to uncover the estimate amounts of money siphoned by past leaders and looters of the national treasury.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to the palace of Obong of Calabar, Cross River state, Edidem Ekpo Abasi Otu V, on Wednesday, January 30, the president also promised to bring positive and progressive reformation to the police force and judiciary sector of the country.

President Buhari's promise on judiciary was connected to the alleged rot in the system, which he said was manifested in the ongoing trial of former chief justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen.
