Recently, a lot of issues about children and how fast they are quickly initiated into adulthood have been arising. In line with this issue, popular OAP Lolo 1 took to her Instagram page to share the trending video of a child model dazzling many people on the runway.
The cute little girl wore a crop top and beautiful skirt that brought out all the cuteness in her. But even more, as she walked on the runway, she treated the audience to scintillating steps and movements that were rather too 'grown-up'.
Many were amazed by the fact that a little girl could rock the runway in such adult-like way. One of the people taken aback was popular OAP Lolo 1. The beautiful radio presenter was not only stunned, she was also worried.
While she commended the girl for being a good model, she could not suppress the thought that the child was being forced to do something beyond her capability. Lolo 1 called it an objectification of her childhood.
Even more, Lolo 1 who is also known as Adaku for her acting role in a popular movie took to her page to ask her fans what they thought about the video. She particularly asked specific questions which detailed how worried and disturbed she felt about the video.

Upon seeing this video and the questions it has prompted in the mind of Adaku, many Nigerians really voiced out. From their opinions, it was easy to see that they did not exactly like that the little girl had been made to act such role.

xxtackles: "@officiallolo1 I tire ooo. In my mind while watching the video i was like whattttttt???? I hope they are explaining to her the importance of being a virtuous woman as much as they are teaching her this! Truth is we have missed it so much that alot of ppl won't even find anything to worry about in this. God heal and help us!"
black_roses_tigress: "@officiallolo1 I cannot agree less with you. This is completely wrong. How do we redirect them when they start going wrong when they are being exposed already at such an early age.Let children enjoy childhood,it’s one in a lifetime glory.smh"
miss_hourglass: "This in not right in every level. It's okay for a child to be a child,we can't make them grow faster than they should. As a mother of four adorable girls, this is too much. I can't imagine any of my daughters in this very awkward child cat walk. May God help us to always walk the right part as parents,it's not easy and no one said it is but we can do better."
ashleydidoempire: "I find this video ridiculous. Something should be done... This is where rubbish starts oooo."
veemacaulay: "@officiallolo1 Oh Alright mama..... Ma, in my opinion, It's probably too much when it doesn't allow them be children that they are or It comes in way of their education or exposes them too much to the outside world until they have gotten to probably their teens, when the parents most of instilled enough guidance and principles in them that would shape them to a far extent, to be better individuals and get them well informed about the dangers of the society at large."
mhiz_zeegold: "I don't see anything wrong...this is just a bold child doing what she has been taught."
