Sol Bamba who is the captain of Premier League side Cardiff City has explained that some of his teammates are now scared to travel by air following the tragic disappearance of Sala.

Striker Emiliano Sala has been missing since last week when the plane he boarded from Nantes failed to reach it destination.

The incident threw football fans around the world into serious shock and panic as the player is now feared dead although there has not been official confirmation.

Bamba has now explained that his teammates are struggling to cope with the pains the disappearance of Emiliano Sala has brought to their hearts.

Emiliano Sala and pilot David Ibbotson have been missing even though authorities in charge have been boosted with funds to continue their search for these two people.

“We travel by plane all the time and some of the lads were maybe thinking they don’t want to go on it any more.

“That’s how deeply we’ve all been affected by this big tragedy.

“The gaffer has been good in terms of bringing someone in to talk to if we need it and some of the lads have done that to get it off their chests.

“It’s been a very, very difficult week for the players, the club and the whole city.

“The search for Emiliano continues and where there’s life there’s hope. We all hope we can still find something good for his family.

“I have a personal connection with Emiliano because we work with the same agent and I spoke to him before he signed for Cardiff.

“But it would be wrong to say I feel more sad than the other lads. Everyone feels sad. We’re all missing him,'' the Ivory Coast international explained according to UK Sun.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Berenice Schkair who is the ex girlfriend of Cardiff City striker Emiliano Sala called for more investigation to be done on the missing of her ex lover.
