uBaba Sibisi from Giant’s Castle sells beautiful and pure animal skin in Durban. The hardworking man can be found on the Colenso/Bergville ramp every day without fail as he works always with a smile.
Sibisi has been selling in Durban for a while now and is fondly recognised by Durbanites who see him as they pass by often keeping cool under a banana tree.
A social media user identified as Lethu (@NguLethu) on Twitter shared Sibisi's story with the country. Lethu disclosed that he is proud of the man's hard work and the quality of his products.
South Africans who regularly travel through the area thanked Lethu for sharing news of Sibisi and his craft with the rest of the country.
This is because even though he is part of their memories of Durban, they never really took a moment to think about him and what he does until they saw Lethu’s post.
The prices of the stunning skins start from a reasonable R1,500 (N7,000). Enthused at the idea of supporting small black businesses, a social media user who lives close to where uBaba sells his skins offered to deliver some products to people living in Gauteng.
Legit.ng earlier reported that an Instagram user identified as Ije-Luv (@ijeomadaisy) recently took to her social media page to share a series of photos of a young Nigerian female carpenter. In the photos, the young lady was seen at the different stages of the completion of what appeared to be a just completed sofa set.
