2019: Choose whoever you like - Buhari tells APC supporters in Imo

- President Muhammadu Buhari has told supporters of the APC in Imo state to vote for candidates of their choice in the forthcoming general elections

- President Buhari says the people should not let intra or inter-party matters remove their sense of responsibility

- The president also tells the people to choose whoever they like across party, ethnicity and religion

As Nigerians prepare for the 2019 general elections, President Muhammadu Buhari has told supporters of the All Progressives Congress in Imo state to cast their ballots for whoever they like.

Channels reports that President Buhari stated this on Tuesday, January 29, at the presidential rally of the party in the state.

Legit.ng gathers that the president told APC supporters in the state to choose whoever they like across party, ethnicity and religion.

He said: “I thank you very much and I want you to please maintain your balance, your senses. Don’t allow intra or inter-party (matters) to remove your sense of responsibility.

“Your vote is your vote, choose whoever you like across party and ethnicity and religion. I thank you very much."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, January 29, addressing All Progressives Congress (APC) members in Abia state in continuation of his campaign rallies, reportedly said he had fulfilled the campaign promises he made to Nigerians in 2015.

The president addressed the huge APC crowd at Enyimba International Football Stadium, Aba, the commercial nerve of Abia state.

Present at the rally were the former governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor Kalu, Ogbonnaya Onu (minister of science and technology), Ken Nnamani, Niyi Adebayo, (former governor of Ekiti state), labour minister Chris Ngige, and the national chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole.

In his speech, Buhari said his administration would continue to tackle infrastructural problems in Nigeria and ensure Nigerians do their businesses without stress if re-elected in the February presidential election.

He said despite the limited resources available to his government and fall in oil revenue, his government had performed, urging the people of Abia state to ensure that APC is voted into power in the forthcoming elections.
