Manchester United attacker Marouane Fellaini is reportedly in talks with an undisclosed Chinese Super League side over a possible move away from Old Trafford.

The Belgium international's current deal with the Red Devils will expire in the summer of 2020 after signing a contract extension with the club under Jose Mourinho.

Fellaini joined United from Everton in 2013 in a deal valued around £29.16 million and was highly instrumental under former managers.

However, since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Russia 2018 bronze medal midfielder has been relegated to the bench.

According to BBC, the Belgian star can still join the Chinese club as the transfer window in that league does not close until 28 February.

However, the Red Devils are refusing to reveal if the two clubs have reached an agreement for the forward.

Having joined the club from Everton in 2013, Fellaini has scored 12 topflight goals after 119 topflight.

Fellaini last featured for United in the Premier League on December 22 when they thrashed Cardiff 5-1 in Solskjaer's first game in charge of the club.

He has scored just two goals in 20 matches in all competitions for the Red Devils this campaign.
