Philippe Coutinho is now set to hold discussions with Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde over his future at the Spanish La Liga giants.

Coutinho has been struggling for form at the Nou Camp since his mega million move from Premier League side Liverpool.

The Brazil international has not been impressive this season and there have been reports that he could make a return to the Premier League with Manchester United and Liverpool interested.

And according to the latest report by Sports, Barcelona chiefs are currently perturbed about the form of Philippe Coutinho this season.

They now want manager Ernesto Valverde to talk with the Brazilian football star so as to find panacea to his problems at the club.

Barcelona's hopes was for Philippe Coutinho to be a perfect replacement for Andres Iniesta, but he has struggled to establish himself at the Camp Nou.

In Coutinho's last five games for Barcelona, he has scored only one goal and failed to provide any assist up front.

Barcelona are currently topping the Spanish La Liga standings with 49 points after 21 games played this season.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Manchester United reportedly launched a bid to sign unsettled Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho.

The 26-year-old joined the Catalans from Liverpool in January 2018 for a fee around £145 million but has failed to impress the coaches at Camp Nou.

He has scored six goals from 23 appearances in all competitions so far this campaign but has been heavily criticized by some quarters at the club.
