Liverpool have opened talks for Brescia youngster Sandro Tonali ‘dubbed’ the next Andrea Pirlo after getting positive reviews from scouts.
According to Daily Mail citing Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, the Premier League giants have been keeping close tabs on the £30m-rated midfielder, who is also on the radar of top European clubs.
The report further claim that Reds chiefs have already commenced discussions with Serie B side Brescia over the 18-year-old Tonali.
Interestingly, the highly-rated Sandro, who plies his trade in second tier of Italian football and resembles the Azzurri legend in physical look as well as playing style.
At the last count, Tonali has netted two times and assisted three goal for Brescia in the current campaign, and has also tested action with the Italy national team.
Interestingly, the Serie B outfit have placed £30million (€35m) price-tag for the midfield jewel, which is a huge transfer fee for the youngster.
Already, the quartet of Juventus, Milan, Inter and Roma are queuing up for the exceptional talent on securing the teenager.
Brescia chief Massimo Cellino recently confirmed that Liverpool are the 18-year-old Tonali.
“Yes, Roma have asked me about Tonali. I've talked about him to [Roma director Mauro] Baldissoni several times, but I want to keep the lad as long as possible.
“Is he ready? I don't know, he's 18. But Liverpool also contacted me a little while ago,” Cellino was quoted as saying to Corriere dello Sport:
