Charly Boy celebrates his wife as she clocks 60 with beautiful photos

Sometimes people believe they should present themselves in a good and decent light to find the love of their lives. However, even people who are unconventional in their ways are also lucky to find true love.

Nigerian singer and songwriter Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has been married to his wife, Lady Diane for about 40 years. Despite that, the affection between them still seems intact.

The self-acclaimed area fada took to his Instagram page to celebrate his lover on her 60th birthday.

Many might think a man of his stature would not know how to make a woman swoon with his words, but he impressed fans with the touching note he penned to his wife to mark her birthday.

He wrote: “When you woke up besides me one morning some 4decades ago and uttered those words, “marry me or I leave”

I didn’t marry you due to lack of options. I married you for one pure and selfish reason: I figured that the little girl in you will make the boy in me a peaceful and happy man. Good job I was right! Happy Birthday from your besotted husband.”
