Yemi Alade’s Johnny music video hits 100m views on Youtube

Music powerhouse Yemi Alade is wrapping up the first month of 2019 with exciting news. The singer’s music video for her hit single Johnny has recently recorded a new height of success on popular video streaming platform, YouTube.

Since the audio release of the Johnny, single off Yemi Alade’s debut King of Queens album, the song has recorded a huge number of successes. From topping several musical charts to becoming an international hit in countries like Tanzania, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, The United Kingdom and others.

The music video which was later released in the same year was received with the same huge reception that had met the single. The video which was directed by ace cinematographer Clarence Peters, instantly gathered several views across all the platforms in which it had been released.

Several years after, the singer is still reaping from her past efforts as the song has now recorded a new whooping 100m views on YouTube.

Yemi took to her Instagram page to announce the milestone while appreciating everyone that had made it possible. She went on to reveal that her page was close to gathering a million subscribers. The singer also promised hers fans that she was going to commit more hard work to her craft in the years to come.
