Breaking: Buhari meets controversial priest Mbaka

President Muhammadu Buhari and controversial Catholic Priest, Ejike Mbaka, on Monday, January 28, held a meeting at the presidential villa Abuja.

According to reports by Premium Times, Mbaka arrived the forecourt of the president’s office at about 12 noon.

He said the reason the Catholic Church created a prayer against bribery and corruption was because it supports the anti-corruption fight; and that he was supporting Buhari to complete another four years in office in order to complete the good work he already started.

Mbaka pointed out that though he likes calling people thieves in the media, Buhari is not a thief. He said nobody understands Nigeria's problems like Buhari and urged Nigerians to vote for the president.

Meanwhile, had reported that Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka predicted President Buhari and the presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, may lose the 2019 presidential election.

The cleric argued that it was the prayers on his Adoration altar that made Buhari the president and lamented that the president had refused to come and do a project for his ministry as a way of thanking God.

He also claimed that it was his ministry’s prayers that saved Buhari from deadly sickness in 2015. Vanguard quoted Mbaka as saying: “Ask Atiku if it is these steps that the cow will take to reach Umuahia.”

Mbaka concluded by requesting that Atiku should reach out to Igbo leaders like Hon. Ike Ekweremadu and also come personally to adoration ground and do a project for them. The cleric also berated Atiku’s running mate, Peter Obi.

He argued that Obi had not done anything for his church. “Umahi donated 1,000 bags of rice and 1,000 tubers of yam to us, but it meant nothing to me until he handed N10 million cheque to me and promised to build a project for the ministry. This is the type of gesture we require from Obi,” he said. ( -> We have updated to serve you better!
