Sanchez opened the scoring for the Red Devils in the FA Cup fourth round clash with a fine finish to help dump the Gunners out of the competition.

And in an apparent rejoinder to the cold reception he received, Sanchez took to Instagram to hit back.

However, instead of using his official account, the 30-year-old shared the parody poster of ‘I Am Legend’ through his dogs' account, @atomhumberoficia1.

The mock movie poster was photoshopped with Sanchez's face alongside his dogs Atom and Humber with a strapline saying: "He came back to play the piano."

"They faced the music. I am back," it continued.

The catchphrase was in reference to the welcome video the Chilean appeared in during his unveiling at United.

Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial went on to score a goal apiece to gift United a comfortable 3-1 victory, with Aubameyang netting Arsenal's consolation.

The Red Devils have collected eight wins from eight matches since the arrival of Solskjaer as club boss back in December, maintaining a 100 per cent winning streak. ( -> We have updated to serve you better.
