Chelsea new signing Gonzalo Higuain left the Blues fans stunned after their 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup fourth round clash at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.
The 31-year-old striker who recently moved to the Premier League side from Serie A side rejected an offer to score his side's opening goal via spot kick in the 26th minute following Sam Hutchinson's foul on Cesar Azpilicueta in the dangerous area
The penalty award sparked controversy as Wednesday players protested the decision with the referee.
Amid the confrontation, Willian picked the ball from the referee, making his way to Higuian.
The Brazilian star offered the new boy the chance to score on his debut for the Blues, but the former Juventus star declined.
Higuain, in a class act instead let Willian take it as the 30-year-old was in line to reach the 50-goal milestone.
The Chelsea winger went on to slot the ball past a helpless Keiren Westwood who was in goal for the lower division side.

Higuain's decision not to take the penalty left Chelsea fans stunned, with some acclaiming it as a show of humility and class.
After scoring the opener via the spot kick in the game, Willian went ahead to embrace Higuain and whispered that his first goal for the club will come soon.
Willian said that: "I want to give him the ball. I wanted him to score the first goal today. But it will come soon."
