Vote for Buhari for continuation of school feeding programme - Sokoto APC gov candidate

- APC governorship candidate in Sokoto state has called on Nigerians to re-elect President Buhari

- Ahmad Aliyu said the president should be re-elected for continuity of this administration's laudable programmes

- According to the gubernatorial candidate, Buhari has introduced social intervention programmes that have helped the masses

Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Sokoto state, has advised Nigerians to re-elect President Muhammadu Buhari for continuity in the school feeding and other laudable programmes that his administration has started.

Aliyu made the call at an APC campaign rally in Tureta local government area of the state on Sunday, January 27, the News Agency of Nigerian (NAN) reports.

He said the free feeding of primary school pupils, the N-power programme, the Farmermoni and the Tradermoni among other social intervention programmes introduced by the Buhari administration had positively impacted on the people's lives.

Aliyu assured the people of state that he would pursue policies that would positively impact on their lives, if elected.

Alhaji Sadiq Achida, the state APC chairman, urged the people to vote APC candidates at all levels to enable the party to continue to implement its laudable programmes. He said all of the party’s candidates possessed better qualities than candidates of other parties.

The APC leader in the state, Senator Wamakko, also called on the people of the state to vote for APC candidates at all levels in the forthcoming elections.

NAN reports that flags were presented to candidates of the party for State Assembly and National Assembly elections during the event.

Recall that Legit.ng previously reported that Alhaji Balarabe Musa, former governor of old Kaduna state, said that the country does not have the condition for a free and fair election and that only money will determine winners of the 2019 general elections.

The former governor also said the support Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was giving to Atiku Abubakar was because he was afraid of what Buhari will do to him.
