Adrien Rabiot has reportedly rejected a switch to Tottenham and prefer to join Premier League rivals Liverpool.
According to Metro report L’Equipe, the Paris Saint-Germain star, who was repeatedly linked with a switch to Barcelona looks likely to move to the English topflight after the Catalan side signed Frenkie de Jong.
At the moment, Rabiot is still training with PSG reserve team after refusing to pen a new deal, with his current contract expiring in the summer.
The French Ligue 1 champs PSG are eager to offload Rabiot this January or risk losing him for free at the end of the campaign, and, according to reports, Tottenham were keen to seal a deal.
Spurs boss Pochettino assured the 24-year-old of a starting role alongside a lucrative contract and signing-on fee.

And the Argentine tactician also contacted Rabiot’s ex- teammates, Serge Aurier and Lucas Moura, in a bid to convince him, but the French international snubbed the switch.
Additional reports from Paris United revealed that Rabiot has always dreamt of joining Liverpool if he has an opportunity of moving to the Premier League.
The highly-rated midfielder is a staunch Liverpool fans as a child and has Reds legend Steven Gerrard as role model and also a great admirers of Jürgen Klopp’s style.
Previously, Liverpool were in the race to sign Rabiot in the past, but the pair of Chelsea and Bayern Munich are now eager to price him away from the French capital.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Adrien Rabiot has emerged as top priority signing for Tottenham Hotspur this month.
The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move away from his Paris Saint Germain following his refusal to sign contract extension at the club.
Rabiot's present deal with the Parisians is due to expire at the end of the ongoing season having refused to extend his stay at the Parc Des Princes beyond this summer.
