Victor Moses is now on the verge of playing his first professional football game for his new side Fenerbahce on Monday evening, January 28, against Yeni Malatyaspor in Super Lig game.

The Nigerian joined the Turkish club on loan from Premier League side Chelsea where he failed to command a regular game under new manager Maurizio Sarri.

Victor Moses last played a competitive game in October last year in the Blues' encounter against BATE Borisov in Europa League.

And on Thursday, January 24, the former Super Eagles star was at the stands to watch his new team play against Umraniyespor in a Cup game which ended in a 1-0 defeat for Fenerbahce.

Moses in now expected to lead Fenerbahce's attack on Monday evening against Yeni in what will be a tough battle.

Yeni are currently occupying third position in the Super Lig standings with 32 points after 18 games, while Fenerbahce occupy 17th position on the table with 17 points after 18 games.

Victor Moses' decision also to join Turkish club Fenerbahce on loan could also make him to return to the Nigerian national team.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how the Nigeria Football Federation confirmed that winger Victor Moses is eager to make a return to the Super Eagles ahead of the 2019 African Cup of Nations.

Victor Moses announced his retirement from international football after the Super Eagles' campaign at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

And while speaking on Channels TV, NFF president Amaju Pinnick made it clear that he is in touch with Victor Moses over a possible return to the Super Eagles.
