Premier League campaigners, Arsenal, have been dealt a massive blow in their pursuit to sign Barcelona star, Denis Suarez, during the January window transfer.
The London club was keen to land the services of the midfielder who is not finding it rosy with the Catalans.
According to a UK Metro report citing sources in Spain, talks on Suarez' potential move to the Emirates have since collapsed.
Arsenal are understood to have been pursuing a loan deal for the midfielder owing to their financial crisis that cannot see them seal permanent deals.
The Unai Emery-tutored side is said to have offered a £1.7 million loan fee for the midfielder but failed to find a middle ground on the inclusion of a clause which would require Arsenal to make the deal permanent in the summer.
