- It happened right in the market where he thought he was being offered payment for his goods only to see the money transform to lesser denomination after the fraudulent customers left

A mysterious and disturbing incident has left a yet-to-be identified trader confused. According to a viral video, the trader was the victim of fraudsters who made away with N48,000 worth of goods from his stock and paid him in lesser notes than required.

Reports claim such an act was successful because the trader got hypnotised by the fraudulent customers who were nowhere to be found when it was discovered that they had paid in the wrong naira notes.

The video showed the distraught trader counting notes of N5 and N10 which was coated with a single N1,000 note. Apparently, the fraudulent buyers had made the trader believe they were counting N1,000 notes and had him believe they were paying the right amount of money until they left with his goods.
