- Barcelona new signing Kevin Prince Boateng says Lionel Messi is the best player in the world
- The Ghanaian footballer last seven months explained also that Ronaldo is the best player
- He made his latest comment while he was being unveiled by Spanish club Barcelona
Ghanaian professional footballer Kevin Prince Boateng has stated clearly that Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi is the best player in the world.
The 31-year-old midfielder who joined the Catalan giants from Sassuolo on loan made this known in a video his new club posted on social media.
But Kevin Prince Boateng must have forgotten how he declared Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo as the best footballer in the world seven months ago.
Boateng posted the photo of the Juventus star on his official social media page with the caption ''The Best''.
And with his current statement, then it means the Ghanaian has changed his minds on who he feels is better between Ronaldo and Messi.
Meanwhile, Kevin-Prince Boateng’s father, Prince Boateng, has broken his silence after his son joined Spanish giants Barcelona.
In an interview with Sunyani-based Space FM, he expressed his excitement with respect to his son’s loan switch.
“Three days ago, he phoned me to expect a surprise.
“Honestly I wasn't expecting this. When he finally confirmed his move yesterday, it was a great joy for me. To have my two sons at clubs like Bayern and Barcelona at the same time.'
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Spanish giants Barcelona announced the signing of Ghanaian striker Kevin-Prince Boateng from Serie A side Sassuolo on loan.
The former AC Milan forward will replace departed Munir El Haddadi who joined Sevilla in the January window on a permanent deal.
The 31-year-old who represented his native country at the 2006 World Cup has scored four goals in 13 appearances for Sassulo this season.
