Despite the many good sides of social media, it is hard to ignore the not so pleasant side of it. A social media user has taken to the Twitter platform to narrate an experience that had happened to his friend.
A social media user who identifies himself as Mwes M Drew (@_mwes) recently shared the story of how his friend was deceived by his girlfriend on popular instant messaging platform WhatAapp.
According to the Mwes, he had received a call from his friend who had asked him to check his girlfriend’s WhatsApp status. The man had also placed the same call to some of their mutual friends, asking each one of them to also check the WhatsApp status of his lover. They found out that they had all been unable to see any post from the lady.
The young man had eventually found out that his lover had posted lovely birthday wishes for him, only after she had blocked every other contact from seeing the post.
Mwes continued his narration in a series of other tweets. He disclosed that his excited friend had taken several screenshots of his lover’s birthday wishes, with the singular thought that the young lady was showing off her love for him to anyone that cared to watch.
