Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has shown that he appreciates creativity and talent. The governor has gifted an apartment to 11-year-old talented artist Kareem Waris Olamilekan.
The 11-year-old is an hyper-realist artist who became known in 2018, after he painted a portrait of the French president, Emmanuel Macron.
President Macron had visited Nigeria in July, 2018, and during a tour to African Shrine in Lagos, he was presented with the portrait that Olamilekan painted.
According to a report on Linda Ikeji, the Lagos governor gave the apartment to Olamilekan and his family.
However, there have been to statement from the governor or the 11-year-old artist confirming the apartment gift.

It is no news that Governor Ambode has love for this young artist, a while ago, Legit.ng had reported that the governor hosted the talented 11-year-old prodigy artist.
