Former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted that Portuguese football manager Jose Mourinho had problem with Pogba because he failed to give him a free role.

Before the departure of Jose Mourinho at Manchester United in December 2018, he had serious bust up with Frenchman Paul Pogba and even some other players.

And now Zlatan Ibrahimovic who played with Pogba under Mourinho before he left, explained that the former Juventus star had no confidence during the reign of Jose at Old Trafford.

Since the arrival of interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United, Paul Pogba has been impressive for Manchester United with many suggesting that he never wanted to play good game for Mourinho.

''There are these players that need to be free, they need to feel free to do what they are able to do under the disciple of the coach.

''Obviously, he has his tactics, he has that, but some players they go above these limits, and you need to let them be free, and I think Paul Pogba is one of them.

‘'Paul didn’t feel confidence from the coach, and the coach didn’t feel confidence for Paul.

‘'It’s difficult to perform as a player if you don’t have confidence from the coach and you don’t have that energy, that motivation, and Jose felt the same thing about Paul,'' Zlatan Ibrahimovic told ESPN.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Swedish professional football star Zlatan Ibrahimovic made it clear that he is not ready to leave American club Los Angeles Galaxy amid speculation about his future.

The 37-year-old striker has recently been linked with a return to Europe with Premier League side Manchester United and AC Milan reported to be interested in his signature.

But Zlatan Ibrahimovic has now stated clearly via a video on social media that he is not done yet with Los Angeles Galaxy.
