Reigning Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona on Sunday, January 20, defeated visiting Leganes 3-1 in at the Nou Camp to maintain their top position on the standings.
Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo started for Leganes against Barcelona and he was in good form for his side.
Barcelona scored their first goal through Frenchman Ousmane Dembele in the 32nd minute in which Leganes' goalkeeper Ivan Cuellar had no answer for.
The visitors restored parity in the 57th minute through Martin Braithwaite who benefited from a deflection off Barcelona defender Jordi Alba to score.
But the hosts took the lead again in the 71st minute through Luis Suarez who was superbly assisted by Lionel Messi.
Jordi Alba provided the assist for Lionel Messi to score the third and winning goal for Barcelona in the 90th minute for the Catalans to win 3-1.
Barcelona are still topping the Spanish La Liga table with 46 points after 20 games played this season.
