The Gunners were impressive from the blast of the whistle till the final minute of the game at the Emirates stadium.

Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette netted the first goal for Arsenal in the 14th minute when Bellerin pulled a cross to him and then leveled near the post and took touches that beat Alonso before lashing an unstoppable riser into the net.
After conceding the first goal, Chelsea players tried to restore parity as the duo of Eden Hazard and Willian combined well to set up Pedro who then failed to beat Gunners' goalie Bernd Leno.
Arsenal scored their second goal of the match in the 39th minute when David Luiz brought down Ramsey in which Sokratis crossed the free kick for Laurent Koscienlny to score.
The first half however ended with Arsenal taking a 2-0 lead to the dressing room at the Emirates stadium.
Chelsea tried all they could to come back into the game in the second half, but Arsenal failed to give them any chance as the Gunners won the match 2-0.
