Sad news seems to spread faster than the good ones. A young man was reported dead in Enugu, as his family members are reportedly seeking justice following his mysterious death.
Legit.ng gathered that late Ikechukwu Arum was a native of Obeagu Awkunanaw, Enugu south local government area. He died on Thursday, January 17, after his arrest by a policeman, Ekeneme.
The deceased was on his way to the hospital after was finally granted bail of N50,000, when he passed away. A source disclosed that late Arum died as a result of the torture he received while in police custody.

Her post reads: “Can’t hold the tears of the painful killing of my cousin Ikechukwu Ani who has done nothing to Anti cult people in Obeagu South, Enugu. Mr Ikechukwu Arum from Obeagu Awkunanaw Enugu south LGA of Enugu was murdered yesterday January 17, in the evening by Mr Ekeneme a police officer commander of anti-cult squad doing nothing. Story tells that the police officer visited his house on January 13, by 2am while he was sleeping with his family and forcefully arrested him, took him away even when his little daughter was crying for help for her father’s freedom rather she was thrown aside and locked up in the cell and he lasted four days in the cell.”

Legit.ng earlier reported that it was a double tragedy for the family of a middle-aged man, Isaac Andem. The young man died on Friday, January 18, in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, a day before his wife’s funeral. Late Esther Andem was 29-year-old.
