- Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu says there is nothing Atiku Abubakar has to offer Nigerians other than corruption
- According to the immediate past women leader of the APC, Buhari has a better chance against the PDP presidential candidate in the forthcoming general elections
- The APC chieftain is calling on Nigerians to re-elect President Buhari so that the latter can make life much better for them
The immediate former women leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has said that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the forthcoming general elections, Atiku Abubakar, has nothing to offer Nigerians but corruption.
Aliyu, who expressed confidence that President Muhammadu Buhari would be re-elected, said the opposition party party and its candidate have nothing to offer the country beyond a return to the dark alleys of corruption and insecurity.
Legit.ng gathers that the APC chieftain made the assertion in an interview she granted Nigerian Tribune, which was published on Friday, January 18.
When asked if Buhari has a better chance against Atiku, she said: "Absolutely. With everything President Buhari has achieved in the past three and half years, even with meager resources, a lot of Nigerians can see beyond the propaganda of the PDP.
"How would they return to power without disparaging the president? But we are not distracted by their desperation. PDP and its candidate have nothing to offer Nigeria beyond a return to the dark alleys of corruption and insecurity. Nigeria has moved on for good."
She urged Nigerians to re-elect President Buhari in the forthcoming elections, saying if re-elected, the Buhari-led government would step up its effort to revamp the country's ailing infrastructure and also make life much better for all Nigerians, irrespective of tribe or religion.
The former APC women leader added: "I am encouraging Nigerians to go for their PVCs and those who already have it to keep it safe in order to vote en-masse for a man of integrity in the person of President Buhari and his running mate, Professor Yemi Osinbajo."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Atiku Abubakar accused President Muhammadu Buhari of fighting opposition instead of fighting corruption.
The former vice president made the allegation in a statement by his media aide, Paul Ibe, on Thursday, January 17.
