Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has reportedly told the club the only condition that will make him sign a new contract.

The 28-year-old's current contract will expire at the end of this season, but the Spaniard is willing to extend his stay at Old Trafford only if he gets at least £300k-a-week deal.

De Gea was highly impressive for the Red Devils in their 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday's Premier League tough clash at Wembley Stadium.

The Sun revealed that De Gea presently earns around £200,000-a-week - meaning he could see a whopping 50 per cent increase on his current pay.

Earlier this week, Jesse Lingard claimed: "We want him to stay. He's one of the best keepers in the world, if not the best."

Gary Neville was also amongst the first to react to the incredible performance, saying on Sky Sports: "De Gea's been inspired.
