- De Gea's contract at the club expires in the summer of 2020 after his one year extension was triggered by the club
Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has reportedly told the club the only condition that will make him sign a new contract.
The 28-year-old's current contract will expire at the end of this season, but the Spaniard is willing to extend his stay at Old Trafford only if he gets at least £300k-a-week deal.
De Gea was highly impressive for the Red Devils in their 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday's Premier League tough clash at Wembley Stadium.
He made an incredible 11 saves, including a truly special stop to deny Harry Kane any chance to get on the scores sheet in the game.
With Marcus Rashford scoring the only goal of the meeting to help United rank sixth on the log - same points as Arsenal who are fifth at the moment.
According to the Sun, the Red Devils recently triggered the goalkeeper's one-year extension clause seeing the No1 stay in Manchester until 2020.
Man United have won all six matches under new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer since he replaced Jose Mourinho in December.
The Sun revealed that De Gea presently earns around £200,000-a-week - meaning he could see a whopping 50 per cent increase on his current pay.
Earlier this week, Jesse Lingard claimed: "We want him to stay. He's one of the best keepers in the world, if not the best."
Gary Neville was also amongst the first to react to the incredible performance, saying on Sky Sports: "De Gea's been inspired.
