Croatia international Luka Modric has reportedly hired popular football agent Jorge Mendes to help him complete a move to Italian side Juventus from Real Madrid.

Inter Milan have been linked with Luka Modric after his impressive performance at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, and the 33-year-old now wants a move to Italy.

And according to the report by Mediaset, the former Tottenham star and current best male World player is tired of playing in Spain and wants to face the exit doors.

The report added that Inter Milan have offered Luka Modric a four-year deal worth nine-million every year for him to quit Real Madrid, but they will have to convince Mendes for them to sign him.

But if Modric opts to join Juventus at the end of the season, then he will have a reunion with Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo at Turin.

Recently, Luka Modric defeated his former teammate Ronaldo to win the 2018 Ballon d'Or award for the first time in his career.

Luka Modric and his teammates at Real Madrid are currently occupying fourth position on the Spanish La Liga table with 33 points after 19 games played this season.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Real Madrid superstar Luka Modric was named the winner of the 2018 Ballon d'Or award beating Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo in Paris on Monday night, December 3.

This will be the first time since 2008 that another player will defeat the duo of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for the Ballon d'Or award.
