Shortly after Tumi Lawrence was replaced by UK-based Rebecca Junaid as singer Kizz Daniel's manager, there hasn't been any response from the former manager until now.
Eariler on, Legit.ng reported the news of how Nigerian dance hall singer, Kizz Daniel together with his record label, announced that he was now under new management. According to the announcement made on their official Instagram page, Tumi Lawrence was no longer the singer's manager.
The announcement came just days after Lawrence accused Davido of slapping him. This led many people to believe he was sacked. Well, Lawrence has finally spoken on the issue while responding to a follower who asked him to explain why he got sacked. In his words: "bosses don’t get sacked, they walk away."
Recall a while ago, there was a major buzz on social media after Tumi Lawrence took to social media to accuse Davido of slapping him at the singer's concert. He tweeted: “Fuck you and your fake love @iam_Davido And to you guys that witnessed it, shame on you @bizzleosikoya @AsaAsika.”
A Twitter user, identified as Peter @peteruonion, took to his handle to explain what had transpired between Davido and Lawrence. According to him, the star had slapped the music manager and also poured his drink on him. To show solidarity, it was gathered that Kizz did not perform at the event but Davido still proceeded to perform the star’s song on his own.
Davido, however, denied the allegations and urged Lawrence to speak the truth, stating he has nothing but love for the star and his manager, Tumi Lawrence. Davido also revealed that the allegations hurt him especially after all he has done for them.
