I haven’t had decent sleep in a week, but I’m happy - Simi gushes

Nigerian songstress Simi is all shades of happy as she shares a post gushing about it on social media.

It is no surprise that the singer is above and beyond happy at the moment, Legit.ng had reported that she had tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend and musician Adekunle Gold on Wednesday, January 9, at a private traditional ceremony.

The couple were supported by their close friends and colleagues in the music industry. It had been reported that the two only invited about three hundred guests to the event.

In a recent post on Instagram, Simi revealed that she is very happy despite the fact that she has not had a decent sleep in a week.

The lack of sleep could be as a result of wedding planning and adjusting to the life of a married woman, also balancing her schedule with everything going on.

This could be too much for someone, but as for Simi, despite the stress she is extremely happy. Probably because she has the love of her life right by her side all through the no sleep thing.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Simi’s manager Wale Bello had confirmed that the two had tied the knot traditionally. He explained that the happy couple did not fix the date for their white wedding yet.

Bello confirmed their union after some Nigerians speculated that videos and photos from the private wedding might have been a publicity stunt for a new project Simi and Adekunle Gold are working on.
