Bologna goalkeeper and defender collided after failing to allow the ball for each other as the ball fell kindly for Bernardeschi, who was on hand to score an easy goal.
The Bianocneri took the advantage in the dressing room at half time as there were no further goals recorded in the first 45 minutes.
