Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho feels delighted to have been linked with a return to either Real Madrid or Inter Milan.
The 55-year-old was relieved of his duty at Old Trafford in December 2018 following his side's 3-1 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield.
Following his sack, the Portugal tactician was said to have been paid a sum of £15 million compensation fee by the club.
Mourinho said: "If a manager or a player is wanted by a former club, it means we did something positive.
"I felt like this when I went back to Chelsea in 2013. When any professional returns to a club, it is a tremendous honour." he concluded
The former Chelsea handler has already rejected an offer to manage Portuguese topflight side Benfica.
While Los Blancos and Inter have already shown interests in re-hiring the coach, who is currently out of job.
Mourinho led Inter Milan to treble in the 2010 season, and won a La Liga for the Galacticos during his three year reign in Spain.

In his almost three year reign at Old Trafford, he won Europa League and EFL Cup titles for the club.

According to a Mirror report, the 55-year-old football tactician will be working as an analyst for beIN Sports in Qatar, during the month-long tourney.
The Portuguese tactician was axed by Man United in December 2018 after a poor run of result in the first stanza of the league.
