- Barcelona set for Neymar's return but will sell Coutinho to fund the deal
- The Brazilian is unhappy at his present club according to reports from his camp
- Coutinho on the other hand has not fully settle at the Spanish club since his move from Liverpool in January 2018
Barcelona are reportedly planning to offload Phillipe Coutinho and fund Neymar's return to the club just two years after joining Paris Saint Germain.
The Catalans signed Coutinho in January 2018 in a deal valued around £142 million in a bid to fill the void his countryman left following his mega move to the French League.
But the 26-year-old has not fully settle down at Camp Nou - scoring just 12 goals in 34 matches since he moved over a year ago.
Daily Star also report that the club touted the Brazilian attacker to step into Andreas Iniesta’s shoes after the Spaniard left for Japan last summer.
Since he joined PSG in 2017, reports from Neymar's camp reveals that the winger is not happy at the club and would give anything to return to Barca.
Sources close to the Camp Nou reports that the Catalans are considering selling the former Liverpool star having fallen behind Ousmane Dembele in pecking order at the club.
Relations between PSG and Barca have been tense since Neymar’s move to the Parc des Princes though and the Catalan club released a statement in late December to deny they were negotiating with midfielder Adrien Rabiot over a summer switch.
Rabiot is out of contract in June and is set to join the Spanish champions, but the statement may have been part of the Catalans’ strategy to lure Neymar back in the summer.
Barca have previously ruled out a return for the Brazilian but the club's director of institutional relations, Guillermo Amor, said in November: “Anything is possible.”
“Coutinho's a player with a lot of experience,” he said. “[He is] one of the best players in Europe and he is ready to play [for] five minutes or 90 minutes.

“He's a player that thinks more about the team than himself and there are no doubts about him being one of the best players in the world.
“He's always played well for Barca, he could play [every game] from the off.
“Barca signed him because he's one of the best in the world and he's going to give us a lot. “He's got many years left on his contract and a lot to give to Barcelona.”
Legit.ng earlier reported that Neymar is ready to stage a return to Barcelona barely two seasons after joining PSG in 2017.
The Brazilian left the club in a world record move to join the Parisians and won the Ligue 1 title in his first season with the French club.
But according to reports in Spain, the 26-year-old is now growing increasingly keen to secure a move back to the Nou Camp at the end of this season.
