President Muhammadu Buhari has said that no candidate or any political party would stop him from winning the February 16 presidential election.
The Punch reports that the president said he was sure of winning the February 16 presidential election.
Legit.ng gathered that he spoke in Abuja at the inaugural meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council.
The national chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole, and the minister of transportation and the director-general of the council, among others, were in attendance.
However, APG governors were absent at the session, though Oshiomhole explained that the governors too were busy with campaigns in their respective states.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that the national chairman of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, said the 24 governors elected under the platform of the party stayed away from the inaugural meeting of the presidential campaign council simply because “they are governors."
It was reported that when asked why the governors were absent, Oshiomhole said: “because they are governors, they are governing their states."
