A Nigerian lady who recently had an encounter with some thieves popularly known as 'One Chance', has taken to social media to reveal her battered face.
In many parts of Nigeria, commercial buses and unmarked taxis are used by criminals to abduct passengers. This is known popularly referred to as 'One Chance'. The victims are often driven to remote places where they are robbed and dropped off.
A lady identified as Damilola Gold Onasile, recently fell victim to these criminal acts and has taken to the Facebook platform to share a photo of her face after she was beaten up and robbed of her belongings by these people.
She wrote: "I can't believe I would l be a victim...All Glory to God... I parted with valuables, but God on His throne still saved me from death...It was a near death experience... To everyone trying to reach me...I don't have any means of communication at the moment... You can reach me on my mum's number - 08126393273...One Chance don chance me o!..."
Onasile who had shared a photo of her badly bruised and swollen face, later took down the post, stating that the picture was 'scary'.
She wrote: "Hello Lovelies!.... I am sorry I had to delete the previous post... It looks so so scary and looking at it got me scared too!... Na woman pikin dem beat like this?! In all situation, let's give God the Glory... Please help me thank GOD....Please sing beautiful songs to Him on my behalf...
I will never ever forget this day...Life gave me a chance....Scratch that... GOD IN HEAVEN GAVE ME ANOTHER CHANCE TO LIVE AGAIN....Today, I said my last prayers thinking it was over... I was pummeled and strangled like a criminal... I saw death face to face, I saw devil today, I saw a human being with no heart and dead conscience...At a point and for the first time in my life... I said, God you failed me!... But no He didn't... He CONQUERED the devil... Please and Please, devil's agents are out there to steal, kill and destroy...
Let's be prayerful and watchful...I have been to the hospital, done facial scan (came out well, no fractions whatsoever)and taken meds...Went to the police station, that one na another story for another day. Many thanks to all who called and sent messages, I do really appreciate everyone. With my one eye closed due to uncountable punches, I am sending you dominion, light and love. Many Thanks.
