Paul Pogba's brother has revealed the truth about the Frenchman’s relationship with former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.

According to a UK Mirror report, the 28-year-old Mathias blasted the Portuguese tactician over his poor treatment for the box-to-box midfielder, while at Old Trafford.

Mathias, who had spells in English football playing for the likes of Wrexham and Crewe Alexandra, told French radio channel that the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss created more enemies than friends during his reign at Old Trafford.

"It was Mourinho that was the problem," Pogba’s elder brother said.

“From what we see of Mourinho, he always wants to be the maestro, the centre of attention.

"Paul does not even calculate that aspect. You respect him, he will respect you. You trust him, he will make you big matches.

“The problem was Mourinho, right down the line. In the locker room, outside the locker room - everything."

Interestingly, Pogba is now enjoying a rebirth under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, scoring more goals in three games than in his last 17 appearances for Mourinho.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Manchester United star Paul Pogba has recovered from the injury he suffered in Newcastle as he jetted off to Dubai to team up with the rest of Red Devils squad at their warm-weather training base.

According to a UK Metro report, the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer tutored-side headed to United Arab Emirates after Saturday’s FA Cup third round win over Reading, without Pogba and the pair of Fred and Matteo Darmian.
