Manchester United icon David Beckham has revealed he accurately predicted that club boss and ex-teammate, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, will be a success story at Old Trafford.
According to a Daily Star report, Beckam hinted in an interview eight years ago at former club LA Galaxy applauded the Norwegian, who netted over 120 goals in 11 seasons at Old Trafford.
One of the reporters sort Beckham’s reaction after Solskjaer claimed the 2011 Tippeligaen in his first season as Molde manager.
And the former Three Lions captain Beckham said: “Congratulations to him.
“He’s such a great guy and such a great player.
“It couldn’t have happened to a better person because he’s a gentleman and one of the best goalscorers in the world, so congrats to Ole.”

The reporter further inquired if the Norwegian could replicate similar success in England after excelling with incredible accuracy.
“We’ll see – maybe he’ll be Man United manager one day,” the midfielder answers.
“In the future, who knows?
“He’s a winner and loves Man United as a club, so you never know.”
Interestingly, eight years on Solskjaer, who fans now see as Sir Alex Ferguson apologist, took over the reins of power after Jose Mourinho was sacked in December.
Since his arrival, the 38-year-old has turned around the club’ fortune, with United enjoying a perfect record of five wins in five matches.
United have maintained their winning run under caretaker manager and Solskjaer has suddenly emerged United fans favourite.
