- Courtois has found himself in the middle of controversies since joining Real Madrid
- Some sections of Chelsea supporters have not forgiven him for moving to Spain
- The Belgian replied a Liverpool fan who wrongly said he has not kept a clean sheet
Real Madrid shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois has responded to a Liverpool fan who took a dig at him about not having clean sheets.
The 27-year-old is currently on a mid season holiday in Dubai with La Liga shutting down for Christmas and the new year.
Chelsea fans are yet to forgive the Belgian for leaving the club in the summer but Courtois has seemingly won a few of those fans over after replying a Liverpool fan.
"One of the most beautiful places I visited," Courtois wrote after visiting the Skeikh Zayed Grand Mosque Abu Dhabi.
But a Reds supporter, whose team currently sits on top of the Premier League heading into the second half of the season, wrote back: "still can't keep a clean sheet."
His comments were inaccurate as Courtois has kept eight clean sheets out of 23 appearances since arriving the Santiago Bernabeu.

And that did not stop Courtois from snapping back: "still no Premier League."
On the other hand, Liverpool are on course to capture the Premier League title sitting comfortably with a six-point lead at the top.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid defeated United Arab Emirates club Al Ain FC 4-1 in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Luka Modric, Marcos Llorente and Sergio Ramos scored the three goals for Real Madrid for them to become champions of the world for the third consecutive time.
