Chelsea have verbally reached an agreement to sign Borussia Dortmund youngster Christian Pulisic for €50 million (£45 million) in the summer, Goal.com quoting German publication Bild is reporting.
The United States midfielder is considered as one of the top youngsters in the world and he will become the most expensive American player if he makes the move to Stamford Bridge.
Aside Chelsea, the 20-year-old has been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United.
Despite losing his place at Dortmund to England's in-form youngster Jadon Sancho, Pulisic has provided three goals in 18 games this season for Borussia Dortmund.

Chelsea believe Pulisic could be the future at the club alongside Eden Hazard with aging wingers like Pedro and Willian nearing the end of their careers.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund are holding discussions over a potential swap deal involving Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi in the coming transfer window.
Dortmund are counting on Chelsea interest in their youngster to table a swap deal between the two attackers.
Pulisic joined Dortmund in 2015 at age 16 and has scored 15 goals in 107 appearances for the club.
The winger has been heavily linked with a move away from Germany, after suggesting that he is open to a move to the Premier League, which put several clubs on high alert.
