- Pogba's five goals and assists makes him best central midfielder in Europe
- The Man United star has resurrected his career under Ole Gunnar Solkjaer
- The French midfielder is also expecting a baby with partner Maria Salaues
It has been revealed that Manchester midfielder Paul Pogba has contributed to more goals than any other central midfielder in Europe’s top five leagues this season.
The France international has turned a new leaf in the past week under new caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 25-year-old shrugged off his poor form under Jose Mourinho by helping himself to two goals in Boxing Day's 3-1 win over Huddersfield at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman's statistics in two games shows that he has scored two and provided two assists - something Pogba was unable to achieve under Mourinho.
And it has resulted into the former Juventus man being involved in ten goals altogether this term - scoring five and setting up another five so far.
The one-time United outcast leads the way for central midfielders, with Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva coming behind him in second place.

However, another Marseille player Florian Thauvin leads the stats for midfielders in all positions this season.
The winger has scored 11 goals and three assists, giving him a grand total of 14, while new England star Jadon Sancho has contributed to a whopping 13 goals for Borussia Dortmund.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is expecting a baby from his partner Maria Salaues in the coming months.
The Frenchman has got back into his best form for United since Ole Gunnar Solksjaer took over from Jose Mourinho in the past week.
