Earlier this week, the news of the death of a young Nigerian student had rocked social media with sadness. The young lady identified as Aisha Omolola has reportedly taken her own life due to depression.

The young lady who was a 300 level student at Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, had reportedly ingested harmful substance, after she left a goodbye note.

In the farewell note, the young lady had allegedly bid farewell to her friends and loved ones, stating that her life had been made a living hell. The young lady had also noted that her parents blame her for their mistakes.

Nigerians on Twitter reacted to the sad news of Aisha's death. Many shared their condolences with the family of the girl.

According to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria on Twitter, the lady had taken her life on Wednesday, December 26, at her apartment in Samaru.

Nigerians on Twitter reacted to the tragic news with sadness. Many expressed that people going through difficult times should find someone to talk to.

However, others expressed that no matter what people are going throug suicide is never the answer to solve the problem.

Another Twitter user who was confused about the reason the lady took her life, noted that she seemed close to her mom, despite stating in her goodbye letter that her mother made her life miserable.

A user also wished to have known the young lady before she took her own life.
