German football star Antonio Rudiger has ruled out the chance of Chelsea winning the Premier League title at the end of the ongoing season.

This is as a result of the Blues' home Premier League defeat against Leicester City on Saturday, December 22.

Chelsea's defeat against Leicester means the Blues have now lost three of their last six League games much to the dismay of boss Maurizio Sarri.

And while reacting to the defeat against Leicester City at Stamford Bridge, a clearly angry Rudiger ranted the Blues can no longer think about the title.

“It’s a disaster. We don’t talk about the title any more.

“If we can’t win these games, we can’t compete. We only talk now about top four. Maybe it’s a lack of mentality. Stupid,'' Rudiger explained according to UK Sun.

Chelsea are now occupying fourth position on the Premier League standings with 37 points, and they are 11 points behind leaders Liverpool.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Chelsea on Saturday, December 22, suffered their third defeats of the season losing 0-1 at home against former Premier League champions Leicester City.

31-year-old Englishman Jamie Vardy scored the only goal that gave Leicester City the win at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea missed the chance to go third on the Premier League standings.
