Manchester United stars Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial we among squad members’ that took to the social media moments after beating Cardiff.

The trio were in playful mood after thrashing the home side 5-1 took to different platform to share their feelings after the game.

Two goal-hero Lingard was the first to react after scoring a spot-kick for his first before rounding off the goalkeeper for his second in the final moments of the match.

Frenchman Martial, who finished off a fantastic team play to restore United’s two-goal advantage before the end of the first stanza, opted for a picture with compatriot Pogba on the flight back to Manchester last night.

On the other hand, Pogba preferred an animated Gif with captain of the side, Ashley Young climbing on his back in celebration mood.

He also added series of fire emojis.

The encounter saw Marcus Rashford net the opener via a free-kick in the third minute which sent Cardiff shot-stopper Neil Etheridge the wrong way.

The technique leading to the kick was superb and the England star was excited to share it on his official Twitter page with two words. "Knuckle ball."

De Gea posted a photo and wrote: "Victory before Christmas. Travelling fans. Enjoy Christmas."

Young preferred celebrating with series of photos from the match.
