Tottenham gaffer Mauricio Pochettino has played down reports linking him with a move to Manchester United as a replacement for Portuguese Jose Mourinho.

United have earmarked the Argentine as first choice to take over from Jose Mourinho should they fail to secure Champions League football next season.

Mauricio Pochettino has now made it clear according to the report by UK Sun that he is happy at Tottenham as he feels appreciated at the Premier League side.

“I feel happy here in Tottenham because the club values and recognises the job we have done.

“So I don’t need to listen to the talk that is going around because the most most important thing is how welcome you are made to feel in your home,'' the 46-year-old explained according to UK Sun.

Pochettino is happy with life in North London but admits it is hard to succeed on limited resources.

Earlier, had reported how Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino reportedly emerged as Manchester United's target to replace current embattled manager Jose Mourinho next summer.
