TV presenter Morayo breaks down in tears as she apologizes to hubby for saying she can’t allow him bathe their daughter

Words are powerful and a single sentence can cause harm. It has happened a lot in the history books, where words altered have erupted wars and caused damage to lives and properties. More than anything, it is often advised that people guard their tongues.

December 6 won't be easily forgotten by the internet or by TV presenter Morayo Afolabi-Brown who many people are claiming painted a picture that she is married to a pedophile. Legit.ng earlier shared the details of how Morayo aka Bahsorun stated on live TV that she will never let her husband bathe their daughter even though she trusts him completely.

Her words immediately sent out a grave message which was perceived as though her husband might be a potential pedophile and people should be careful with their kids around him. Few hours after altering such a statement on a public platform, she doubled down on her Instagram page, attempting to explain her stance, stating that her husband is a decent man and her message is directed to women who know their husband abuse their children and refuse to speak out.

It soon became obvious that she already broke the calabash following the reaction of Nigerians with which many opined that she had ruined her husband's reputation on TV. Just recently, Morayo broke down in tears on live TV and apologised to her man for saying what she said.

Since her statement, Bashorun has gotten several backlash from Nigerians, claiming that she was disrespectful to her husband. She also confirmed that since she voiced her thoughts, she has gotten several phone calls condemning her words.

On the bright side, she has managed to earn more views on her TV show as people who never heard of the Your View show are now interested in what the presenter says on the platform.

Meanwhile, a candidate for 2019 Kogi Central election has condemned the death of 13-year-old Ochanya Obanje following complications of abuse by her uncle and his son. Natasha Akpoti called for a review of Nigeria's social welfare policies.

Akpoti urged lawmakers of the National Assembly to consolidate on all existing Social Welfare policies into a comprehensive law.
